Who is the weekly parking ticket for?
The weekly parking ticket is only intended for patients and their visitors of UMC Utrecht and the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital.
How does the weekly parking ticket work?
When purchasing a weekly parking ticket, your license plate is registered. When entering or exiting, the license plate scanner at the barrier checks if there is a valid weekly parking ticket for that license plate. If so, the barrier will open. You do not need to print the ticket.
How do I purchase a weekly parking ticket?
You can purchase the weekly parking ticket through this webshop. By clicking on the logo in the top left corner, you go to the homepage. From there, you have the option to buy a weekly parking ticket.
- Choose the start date
- Enter the departure date seven days later
- Press the ‘show parking options’ button
- Click on the shopping cart and then proceed to checkout
- Enter your email address and license plate number
- Create an account (optional)
- After agreeing to the terms and conditions, choose a payment method
- Complete the order with a payment in the secure payment environment
- You will then receive a confirmation email
Did not receive a confirmation email?
Here are a few handy steps to check what went wrong:
- Is the confirmation perhaps in your spam/junk mail?
- Check if the purchase amount has been deducted from your account. If not, the booking was unfortunately not successful. You will need to place the booking again.
- If you did not receive the confirmation but the purchase amount has been deducted, please contact us at info@umcutrecht.nl.
I entered the wrong license plate. What should I do?
If you entered the wrong license plate, you can send an email to info@umcutrecht.nl. If you are at the hospital, you can also visit the hosts/hostesses. They can make a correction.
My license plate does not work at the barrier. What should I do?
Check your weekly parking ticket; do the date, parking lot or garage, and license plate match? Press the intercom and ask for assistance. Have your booking number ready.
Can I purchase multiple weekly parking tickets with one email address?
Yes, a weekly parking ticket is linked to a license plate, the email address associated with it is free. There is a limit of five weekly parking passes per year per license plate.
I get a message that I can no longer purchase a weekly parking pass. What should I do?
For the purchase of weekly parking passes, a limit of five weekly parking passes per year per license plate has been set. When this limit is reached, you can contact info@umcutrecht.nl and we will look at the possibilities together.
Can I get a refund for a parking ticket if I find out I don’t need a weekly parking pass after all?
It is possible to be eligible for a refund. Please contact info@umcutrecht.nl and we will look at the possibilities.
